Damyanah Studio is a creative studio making ceramic handmade and handpainted pendants, beads, cabochons, tiles. The studio is based in Bulgaria. The main technique looks like a contemporary
interpretation of the classic Italian majolica. This basically means there are at least three firings - the first one as expected is he biscuit one, the second one is after the base color is glazed
(white or black in our case) and the third one is after the actual handpainting on the tiles and pendants. It takes a lot of time and effort but we hope it's worth it. Damyanah Studio is
a functioning studio since the beginning of 2018 when we first attended he To Bead True Blue Show in Tuscon , AZ, USA (January, 2018) sharing a booth with Golem Design Studio.
In February 2019 we'll be back on the To Bead True Blue Show but with our very own booth.
A little more about the person who stands behind the studio:
My name is Damyana Dimitrova and I am the owner and lead ceramic artist of Damyanah Studio which basically means that the studio is quite small for now as a business and I am the person who does everything. As a daughter of the owners and ceramic artists in Golem Design Studio, Kremena and Vlad, I've been always
involved with ceramics and have been working for Golem Design Studio for quite a while before deciding to start a brand of my own. After graduating high school, I studied Illustration for an year in
University of East London. After falling in love with the illustrative drawing, it turned out that her real passion was ceramics.
